Winter

It's been cold lately, but it's hard to convey temperature unless the element that sustains life--water--is present in the form of ice or snow. I was walking around my work place today, and it was so pretty. I regretted not having my camera with me. Here are some pictures I've taken over the years in my extended neighborhood.

Clicking on the pictures, makes them larger!

I've seen the last one. Was it last year, when the Hudson river froze?

Yeap! This year I haven't seen it frozen in the vicinity of the George Washington bridge, but further to the north, near the footprints of the Tapan Zee.

I see that you have a pix from Central Park. Last Sunday, I took a stroll there and it was soooooo pretty. Clear pathways, kinda chilly, but the snow everywhere else made the park so magical!

Nice pix.
