Foggy Afternoon by the Hudson River

The river was absolutely placid at low tide. A couple hours earlier the fog was so dense that I couldn't see across and not much was visible to take pictures. As I was driving home late in the day, the fog had enveloped everything. Very thick. The cars' headlights piercing the veil only a few yards.

In the distance, the Bear Mountain bridge barely visible

Those are some amazing pictures. What camera did you use?

I used a Nikon D5100 and a 55-200 lens. It's not usual that there's no wind, no waves, and fog on the Hudson. It's a big river that runs in a valley, which acts as a wind tunnel. But, the weather has been crazy in the last few years.
